A Day in Cirencester
08.04.26
I spent some time in Cirencester today, preparing a selection of my watercolour paintings to be shown at Odd Socks Coffee Shop.
There’s something really special about seeing my work leave the studio and find a place somewhere local. Being an artist based near Cirencester in the Cotswolds, it means a lot to be able to share my paintings within the community here.
It was a quiet, gentle day — packaging pieces, getting everything ready, and taking a moment to appreciate how far things have come.
If you’re in Cirencester or exploring the Cotswolds, you can now see some of my work on display at Odd Socks.

Today was a lovely mix of preparation and new beginnings.
I spent some time carefully packaging a selection of my watercolour paintings, getting them ready to be displayed at Odd Socks Coffee Shop in Cirencester. It’s always a special feeling seeing pieces leave the studio and find their place somewhere new.
Alongside that, I’ve started working on something I’ve been really excited about — my first children’s book, Pip and the Big Wide World.
It’s still early days, but I’ve begun both the writing and the painting, and it already feels like a project very close to my heart. Pip, a little dachshund, is setting off on his own adventure, and I’m looking forward to seeing where the story goes.
A quiet, creative day — and the start of something new.
